Children Animation is key element of Bread and Jam offer -> top priority
Objectives:
- “best in class”
- uniform concept for all animations -> create distinguishable/unique features
Approach:
- binding guidelines (e.g. philosophy, age groups, general content)
- joint elaboration of detailed programmes
- implementation and daily operation by “Bread and Jam”
Control:
- pre-defined quality targets
- weekly feedback
“Ingredients”
- First-class hardware and infrastructure
- Detailed animation programmes designed and tailored to different age groups
- Pedagogical training of animation personnel
- State-of-the-art equipment of MiniClub(toys/ attractions)
- Child-oriented culinary offer
Tasks of “Bread and Jam”
- Develop detailed children animation programmes designed and tailored to different age groups and sexes
- Screen, select and train “dedicated” animation personnel
- Organize, implement and manage the animation concept and programmes
- Create weekly schedules, theme days and events
- Provide timely information on programmes, events, etc. to the Marketing department
- Create and organize alternative/ indoor programmes in case of bad weather
- Animation staff: approx. 20 people
Animation Programmes
- Daily, from 9 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.
- Multilingual assistance in Italian, German, Dutch, English
- Focus on children from 3 to 12 years
- Programmes developed and implemented for different age groups, with content tailored also to girls and boys
- Entertaining and with playful approach to spread knowledge (edutainment)
- Organized and realized at MiniClub, playgrounds, beach, pools or at various points throughout the Village, occasionally with little excursions
Mascot
- Development of mascot with personality, story, etc.
- Integration of mascot in infrastructure (branding) and children animation programmes (walking act, storytelling, branding)
- Only one mascot & only one brand permitted
- Step 2: Merchandising products
- Step 3: Kids Club (separate communication channel, events, etc.)
Age Group Maxi (9 –11.9 years):
- focus: animation, sports, adventure
- very varied programme with items like fun sports and tournaments, geo cashing, circus school, night walks, exciting experiments, theme days, wannabe programmes etc.
- Interests: movies, computers, music
- Places: more focus on resort outdoors, more excursions, MiniClub, beach, pools, less playgrounds
- Times: daily, 9 a.m. to 9.30 p.m., possible assistance at meal times
- Animation staff: 5 people
Age Group Teenagers (12 + years):
- focus: animation, action, sports, fun, adventure
- “cool” programme with items like fun sports, team sports, special sport weeks, adventure excursions, music & party, movies, creative workshops and tournaments etc.
- Interests: movies, music, party
- Places: focus on resort outdoors, more and longer excursions, beach; no playgrounds/no MiniClubs
- Times: daily, 9 a.m. to 9.30 p.m., some days until 12 p.m.
- Animation staff: 3 people (“older brothers/ sisters”)
Age Group Mini (3 -5.9 years):
- focus: fun and games
- affectionate care with items like puppet theatre, story time, fun games, arts & crafts, painting, children’s shows, etc.
- Interests: animals, fairytales, magic
- Places: MiniClub, playgrounds, beach, resort outdoors
- Times: daily, 9 a.m. to 9.30 p.m., possible assistance at meal times
- Animation staff: 6 people
Age Group Midi (6 –8.9 years):
- focus: fun and games completed with additional excitement
- discovering new things, creating theme worlds, meeting new friends and experiencing little adventures with items like nature walks, theme days, treasure hunts, sports, cooking and wannabe programmes etc.
- Interests: movies, magic, nature
- Places: MiniClub, playgrounds, beach, pools, resort outdoors, little excursions
- Times: daily, 9 a.m. to 9.30 p.m., possible assistance at meal times
- Animation staff: 6 people
